Just trying to help the animals in shelters. I have been to shelters when people come out to look at dogs. The dogs are usually very excited and hyper because they have been in there kennel and they get passed up because they are so excited. If you are wanting to adopt from a shelter, go on the shelters website and look at the dogs they have and pick out a few that you are interested. Call the shelter and see if they would take your choices out the run area to let them play off there energy a little before you get there so you can see the dogs true behavior and demeanor. Just my 2 cents:)
