Just want to make people in Tramore aware of a scam, I was about to leave the car park at Tesco at around 8.30 when a fella in his early 30s flagged me down and gave me a sob story about his mother was very sick in hospital and his wife was in his car with two children who were hungry and the wife is heavily pregnant, he told me he would give me his watch and passport to hold if I would lend him some money, even a couple of euro, (obviously didnt realise who he was asking), I told him he should take up country and western singing and sent him on his way empty handed and rang the Gardai to let them know, would be interested to hear if anyone else had a similar experience, I believe this scam has been doing the rounds for some time.
