Just want to say that I am feeling very very blessed, lucky, loved and happy. Its been a very long hard road this past year and I have made it to this place... sitting in a lounge chair ($12 from Goodwill!) poolside in our new home in Tempe, recovering from my first IVIG (thank you GAYLE for 2 yrs of loving care and to my Father above for bringing a new nurse (who seems to be of the same caliber) named JOY into my life here! The hubs is grocery shopping at a local bargain store! Yeah for the budget! And while my medication schedule will not allow me to attend a dear friends wedding tomorrow... it does allow me to welcome another sister here from CHicago for the weekend. It never ceases to overwhelm my heart - this blessing of love and understanding that encircles me from my sisters ...no matter what my immune status is, no matter whether I can move or am in pain, laughing or not... they show up and just keep me keepin on. So... as I breathe in the mild desert air on this night... and think of Barb and wish I could hug her, and T and wish we could be figuring out some pattern, and Julie... doing anything, and Mary... looking at Grandbaby pix, or Gayle fussing at each other and laughing , and then Fredi...planning and just being together...and either of my Lauras... and, and, and...I will just take another breath and try not to miss you all too much and thank God for the blessing of each of you... of each moment and each memory... and pray that you all know how much you are loved and thought of and cherished... and that I hope you are feeling loved, and lucky, and blessed on this night too.
