Just wanted to rant about HSBC...before going away I went into the bank to make sure I would have access to my money whilst travelling...with ATM & credit card...as in the past I have had MAJOR probs with both whilst overseas...the teller suggested that instead of using the cards (as I may experience problems I should carry cash!!) Why bother having cards at all...Ill just keep my money in a shoe box under my bed!!!! For the entire time I was away I was unable to withdraw money from any HSBC account......THE WORLDS LOCAL BANK!!!!!!!!!!!! My Arse!!! Thank goodness for Standard Chartered...no problem at all...anywhere...able to withdraw cash...use credit card...they even called to check to make sure I was away in order to protect my account...got to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SCB!!!!
