Just wanted to share - Yesterday was my daddys birthday! A month ago, we didnt expect Dad to be with us by his birthday, so spending the day celebrating with him was a big deal! And, we did all we could to make it just that! Even tho preparing for it was a bit of a challenge! What gift do you choose for someone totally bedridden? What about the cake? --> Dad remains on this puree diet due to poor swallowing. But regardless, we had a great time & he did too!! It absolutely broke my heart tho to leave... He wanted to come home with us & I cried the whole way home, because at this time, he isnt able to :( I will bring him home tho, some day, some way, sooner than later, I will bring him home & I will take care of him. Continued prayers are needed & appreciated! Much love from the family! ❤
