Just wanted to share this... I want to thank you all so much for having me visit your wonderful church on January 11. I thank you for the opportunity to attend your worship service, for the blessing you gave me, for the delicious food I ate and the food shared with the Warming Center guests. I thank you, too, for the donations received and since that night that have warmed the feet, hands and bodies of those who come to the Warming Center and the donations that have helped us pay our bills. It was a blessing to me to meet you and your wonderful Pastors. You made me feel so welcome and I appreciate the opportunity you gave me to share some about the Warming Center and our guests. The memory verse in the bulletin that week was so appropriate: “I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.” Olivet Beacon of Light Lutheran Church is a great church and you are famous for your generosity at the Warming Center and truly a blessing to our guests.
