Just wanted to update everyone; Were getting ready to turn in our grant request for a commodities study of our main state highway and rail system. This study will become a comprehensive report of what and how much of hazardous chemicals and heavy petroleum are traveling through our county. This information can then be used by our emergency responders in their training and in case of the worst happening. Cross your fingers that the grant comes through!
