Just wasted my time at another job interview (hotel front desk position). Spoke on the phone with the lady 4 times before scheduling the interview and taking the bus/wasting my money getting there. First thing she asks is What hotels have you worked at before. Ummm none. And if that was your first requirement (her own words) why would you not ask me that one of the four times weve spoken and not wasted either of our time?? She was like well there is too much to train you on and a lot to keep track of Dude. You have 28 rooms. If I can keep track of around 1,500 moves a month at a moving company, schedule pick-ups and deliveries, handle operations, keep track of storage, follow up with customers, call potential clients, answer incoming calls, handle high-end and celebrity clients blah blah blah, I can handle booking your 28 rooms and wiping the goddamn counter. So irritated. All she had to do was ask me one god damn question and I wouldnt have wasted my time or money lol or I could have googled the name of a now defunct hotel, said I worked there and she would have been none the wiser haha
