Just watched the President of the United States, Barack Obama, address the nation. He made little or no mention of the FACT that a Grand Jury found Darren Wilson innocent. Most of the news media, nor President Obama, made mention of the video taped strong armed robbery by Michael Brown and his criminal accomplice Dorian Johnson (news.investors/ibd-editorials/082214-714559-dorian-johnson-the-boy-who-cried-wolf.htm). Crazy, our leader told us that he EXPECTS that a few individuals will act out, but he hopes the media wont focus on that (a.k.a. more lawless criminals praying on descent Americans). Instead our President prodded our media to focus on bringing our nation together by giving attention to preachers (a.k.a. rebel-rousers). This is crazy! We are Americans Period. Its not about RACE, as we are all one race, THE HUMAN RACE! This is about a young individual who associated with an older criminal minded individual who had a great impact on the actions of the young man. Truly sad is the result is the death of this young man. Im baffled by the feeding into the division of who we are. Our fore-fathers gave great sacrifice, our service men and women gave life and limb to see that we (the citizens, no matter our skin tone) have the freedoms and rights to prosper in this great land. Thank you to every civil servant who serves to keep our communities safe. My heart goes out to the family of Michael Brown with the death of their son, I pray for their peace. May we be reminded that we are the people, this government speaks in ways to divide us. Bottom line, we all want to feel safe and loved.
