Just yesterday out in Miller buying a Chinese dinner for my Pops and I fortune House and when I walk in the door this fellow,my age, says Hey Boss.whats happening? So I was in a pretty good mood so instead of actually saying what I initially thought. I decided to see where his head really was. So I ask this fellow, Why did you call me BOSS? HIS response just being friendly and that he says.it to everyone. Soooo I said, do you know me? Are you in my employ? Puzzled look. Then I asked why would you NOT greet.someone you dont know as either Sir, Mr definite signs of Respect? I said for far.too long in the Black community weve disrespected each other. To use a simple Mr or Mrs Or Sir or Maam to each other would be what ludicrous. At some point in time Black America must awaken snd realize that we are perpetuating our Own demise by consistently demeaning ourselves. This same dude addressed the Chinese proprietor with a thank you Sir when receiving his food. Are WE our Own worst ? SSOB BOSS figure it out!
