Justin Bostons Dominant Run Derailed by Blown Tire Boston Finishes Seventh at New Jersey Motorsports Park Justin Boston spent most of Sunday afternoon in front, but a blown tire on Lap 60 cost him a shot at a New Jersey Motorsports Park win. Tough break, for sure. Boston and the No.25 ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers - JACO Environmental Toyota team salvaged a seventh-place result after leading the most laps in the 150-mile event. Starting from the second position, the Venturini Motorsports driver immediately took the lead and settled into the spot for 32 laps. Boston informed the ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers - JACO Environmental team that his green, orange and blue Toyota was free on the slick track, so crew chief Kevin Reed called his driver to pit road under green-flag conditions on Lap 33 for four tires and fuel. Boston was scored in the third position on Lap 40 and continued to work his way back to the front, and took over the lead when a round of green-flag pit stops began cycling through the field for drivers who didnt pit. The Maryland native remained out front for nine laps before surrendering the top spot to the eventual race winner Andrew Ranger. Boston continued to run in the second position until his No.25 ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers - JACO Environmental Toyota Camrys left rear tire exploded on Lap 60, and he was forced to pit under the green flag the following lap for left-side tires. The 2013 SCOTT Rookie of the Year was forced to battle traffic on his way to the front of the field. During the final laps Boston passed for position to finish seventh and couldnt hide his frustration and disappointment at the result afterward. Start - 2 Finish - 7 Laps Led - 42 Justin Boston Quote: Cant predict a tire failure. It was a solid day overall at New Jersey Motorsports Park and it was a shame we couldnt battle it out at the end for the win. We had a tire go down with about seven laps to go and we salvaged a seventh place finish. Had enough saved for the end - just had a tire issue.
