KARACHI – Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Friday has asked for a list of potential candidates for the posts of provincial party president for as many as three provinces. Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari is likely to get a post. According to the details, restructuring in the party on a large scale is likely to occur. Zardari has decided to replace the presidents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh and Punjab with fresh candidates and for that he has asked for recommendations. Moreover, a party has been formed for the selection of the PPP’s provincial presidents comprising of Raja Pervez Ashraf, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Yousaf Raza Gillani, Faisal Kareem Kandi and Faryal Talpur. The committee would recommend names for the posts from the three provinces. According to the sources, the presidents of the PPP’s youth and student bodies would also be replaced.
