KCK Board of Commissioners has a meeting this Thursday at 7pm. While no public comment is allowed its always good to attend. At the very least, please write the commissioners in full support as the ordinance as proposed. Outside interests are trying to sway the vote against passing. Every day we delay implementing the proposed changes is another day of wasted resources and diminished public safety. Please note that ALL of the national experts in animal welfare support the types of changes proposed in KCK including increased pet limits, TNR and breed neutral ordinances. This includes the National Animal Control Association, whose sole purpose is to ensure the safety of the public and humane treatment of our pets.
