KEITH STUTES ACCEPTS KPEL DEBATE. WAITING ON HARSON. The Keith Stutes Campaign has accepted all six potential dates for a debate with District Attorney Mike Harson, on KPEL-FM radio. The campaign accepted on August 27th, when the offer was extended. “I am pleased to accept the offer to debate Mike Harson on any one of the six dates offered” said retired prosecutor and former Assistant District Attorney, Keith Stutes. “As I have said repeatedly, I will debate the DA anytime, anywhere so that the voters of the 15th JDC will have an opportunity to hear what is at stake in this election” Stutes said. “It’s been three weeks since the offer was extended on August 27th, I am looking forward to learning soon which date works best for Mike” Stutes continued. “The issues facing our communities are too important not to have this debate” Stutes concluded. The proposed dates are: Tuesday, October 21st, 5 to 6 pm Wednesday, October 22nd, 5 to 6 pm Thursday, October 23rd, 5 to 6 pm Tuesday, October 28th, 5 to 6 pm Wednesday, October 29th, 5 to 6 pm Thursday, October 30th, 5 to 6 pm The debate will be broadcast live on “Go Acadiana”, with Ken Romero and Dr. John Sutherlin, weekdays from 5 to 6pm.
