KEVIN SPACEY says YES ! Friends, great news. Hollywood Actor, Oscars for Best Actor, Supporting Actor and numerous Golden Globes he has a message for all of us which is strong and inspirational. Let me set the scene. In the HBO series House of Cards he plays the Chief Whip in the ruling Democratic Party and has aspirations to be Vice and ultimately President. We, the audience, know this as he whispers direct to camera his innermost thoughts. The second last Episode and Kevin has manipulated the White House chief of staff to ask him the direct question - "Do you want to be Vice-President". Now for the crunch. Kevin turns to camera and says "Everything I have done in the last six months has led to this point. The next fifteen minutes will change everything". He turns to the chief of staff and says "Yes". The message to us fighting for Independence is clear. Everything, however small, we do will lead us to 18 Sep 2014. Every conversation. Every re-post of an article. Every badge you wear, every time you march. And then the fifteen minutes comes along. Enter the polling station. Make your mark. Leave. And remember that even twelve months out, everything you can do will count. One extra vote may be all it takes to deliver a Scotland which is fairer, enterprising, greener, safer and has the brightest possible future. And perhaps we can thank Kevin Spacey for showing us the way when we say YES !
