KISS ARMY WITH KEVSTER / MELSTER THIS DAY IN KISSTORY FEBRUARY 25th !! #KISSARMYWITHKEVSTER ON THIS DAY IN KISSTORY 2/25 !!! 1978 - KISS Co-founder Paul Stanley is recording portions of his solo album at Electric Lady Recording Studio in New York City, New York. 1978 - KISS Smash hit Rocket Ride is released as a single. It manages to reach #39 in the charts, also KISS enters Electric Lady Studios in New York City, New York to re-record Strutter 78 for inclusion on their forthcoming compilation Double Platinum. 1979 - KISS return to New York studios to record Dynasty with Vini Poncia, the producer of Peters solo album at the controls. Peter Criss is unavailable at some of the sessions, partially due to problems with his hands caused from a recent car accident, and he is replaced by Anton Fig and Richie Fontana on most of the tracks. 1982 - The solo album titled Let Me Rock You by Former KISS member Peter Criss is released in Japan. 1985 - KISS sends an autographed photo to David Lamancke a high-school student in Avoca, New York who painted a 40 foot mural of his favorite rock band KISS but it was on school property. Fifty other students sat in the cafeteria in protest as the janitors painted over the mural police were on hand in case of any trouble. 1987 - Former KISS member Vinnie Vincent Invasion attacks Phoenix, Arizona during their debut album tour. 1988 - KISS plays Convention Center Arena in San Antonio, Texas during their Crazy Nights tour. 1989 - Former KISS Spaceace Ace Frehley and Richie Scarlet work on some new material at SIR Rehearsal Studios for the Trouble Walkin album. Meanwhile, KISS Co-founder Paul Stanley has a one-night-stand as his solo tour makes a stop in Norfolk, Virginia. 1993 - KISS appears on the Howard Stern Show and perform an acoustic version of Detroit Rock City. Jessica Hahn and Andrew Dice Clay are also on his program. Dr. Dre turns down the chance to record a song for the upcoming KISS My Ass tribute album project. 1995 - KISS Co-founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley appear at the Marvel Music party. 1996 - All four original KISS band members are in Beverly Hills, California at the home of Gene Simmons for a first trial run of re-applying their famous trademarked warpaint. 1997 - KISS Performs to a sold-out crowd at the memorial drive in adelaide during the opening song of the concert while performing their smash hit Deuce all sound is lost as KISS is performing but the problem is fixed very fast and KISS put on another show never to be forgotten. 2003 - KISS leaves the Crown Towers Hotel at 1:30pm to rehearse with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at 2:00pm, and later in the day, KISS (with Tommy Thayer as the Spaceman guitarist) appears on the Australian television program Rove Live. An acoustic version of the classic song Sure Know Something is performed. This footage appears on KISS Symphony - The DVD. KISS IS SOMETHING UNIQUE AND TIMELESS.
