KSFY is airing an interview at 10pm with the man that killed another man after a car chase by police. This young man gets 50 years in prison. I do not want this to turn into a racial thing but why did Jason Cleveland only get 27 years for killing 6 SWO Memebrs, almost half of what this young native man gets. I am sure there are laws pertaining to different situations. I feel for the family of the man who was killed...my family knows all to well how it feels to lose a loved one 6 times over. I hope to get answers to questions on the reasons behind on sentence of a person versus another. I felt rage this evening watching the news. It was a moment that hit me right in the stomach again. But again prayer gets me thru......I know that there are injustices every day to our Native People. I now feel it is time to start to work towards all mankind be treated equal...10 years is a long time to feel betrayed by the "Justice system" please understand I and my family have suffered long enough with unanswered questions.
