KSUT has launched a monthly sustainers drawing. Each month, well pool all of our sustaining members who are paying via fund transfers, credit cards, bank checks or payroll deductions (for tribal employees) and draw one for a prize. Januarys winners were Anne-Britt and Mark Schenk of Telluride. Theyll receive a pair of single-day lift tickets to Durango Mountain Resort and a $50 Durango Coffee Company gift card. Next month, well draw for a pair of Wolf Creek single-day lift tickets and two soaking passes to Overlook Hot Springs. In future months, well pair concert tickets with restaurant gift certificates, festival passes, gift certificates to local businesses and more. Its our way of thanking our sustaining members. In March, well draw for our annual Grand Prize for sustaining members - a pair of four-day passes to the sold-out Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Did you know we receive nearly 27 percent of our membership revenues via sustaining memberships? We have nearly 575 sustaining members as of January 2015. These folks pay a certain amount each month to satisfy their initial pledge (example: $10/month on a $120/annual pledge). Once that pledge is fulfilled, their account rolls over and creates a brand new pledge at the same monthly and annual amounts. It saves them the chore of having to phone in new pledges during our membership drives. It also allows them to make larger pledges, since the monthly payments are less than what a bigger annual one would be. Interested in becoming a sustaining member? As a sustainer, youre always welcome to enter all of our regular drawings during the fall, spring, end-of-year and festival membership drives by calling us each day during the drive ...
