KUALA LUMPUR: A Bangla learning institution named Red and Green Academy is expected to be open in Malaysia from today! According to the organizers, the academy will be the first of this kind in Malaysia. They think that the academy aims to teach the children of expatriate Bangladeshis in Malaysia. Students will get teaching from Nursery to class V. Besides, interested people of any age will get opportunity to learn the basics of Bangla language. The Red and Green Academy will follow the instructions of Bangladesh’s National Curriculum and Textbook Board. The academy will also uphold several features of Bangla culture. However, a good number of children of Bangladeshi expatriates are studying in several schools in the country. Their practice of Bangla is limited to their family and community spheres.
