My national costume for Miss Universe 2014 is entitledJamania and it speaks to the unparalleled fire and tenacity of the Jamaican spirit which gave the world reggae music and produces such world class legends as Bob Marley, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Grace Jones, Usain Bolt and Shelly Ann Fraser. It is inspired by the Jamaican motto, Out Of Many, One People, and draws mainly on the cultural contributions made by the peoples who inhabited Jamaica through the centuries, such as the Taino Indians, the Spanish, the British, the Africans, Chinese and Indians.
