Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed new signings Ovidy Karuru and Phakamani Mngadi are unavailable for their Premiership opener against Free State Stars at Charles Mopeli Stadium this afternoon. Zimbabwean midfielder Karuru and winger Mngadi are still waiting on their work permit and clearance respectively following their move to Chiefs last month. Karuru penned a three- year contract at Naturena, having previously played for Belgian outfit OH Leuven. Mngadi linked up with Amakhosi on an 11-month loan deal from K.A.S. Eupen. The Soweto giants are also without the services of injured trio Siphiwe Tshabalala, Bernard Parker and Matthew Rusike. Meanwhile, Glamour Boys coach Stuart Baxter says his unit will approach todays fixture with the same intensity they displayed in last weekends 4-0 rout of Mpumalanga Black Aces in the MTN8. It will be the same challenge that we faced last week ahead of the MTN8 quarterfinal agains Black Aces, Baxter told his clubs official website. It is going to be another tough one.
