Kajiado county assembly Jobs-This is shocking seriously!!! The Kajiado county assembly is an entity under siege. 90% of the departments are headed by outsiders. The Clerk- Mr Konyango The Principal Clerk assisntant- Lydia Makaka The Hansard Department is a Luo affair. Principal Sergeant at Arm-Dickson Ndemo Principal Auditor-Mr Mbakaya For the Principal Auditors Interviews Mr Mbakaya attended the interview two days after the interview date. Information at hand is that the Clerk tried to call him to attend the interview after he was shortlisted without even applying for it but he could not be reached. The clerk went ahead and travelled to his village and came back with the guy and formed a Kangaroo interview Panel who interviewed the guy. After the interview He was Ranked Third. The best candidates were 1. Mr Sirere (forcefully transferred to Budget under duress and coerced to accept) to give way for Mr Mbakaya 2. Mr Alex Lengete Pulei 3. Mr Mbakaya (Interviewed on Saturday two days after the interview) Under the Values of an Auditor an auditor must be seen and heard to be independent if you are brought by the boss to be his gate keeper where is independence of the auditor? where is Integrity of the Audit profession? Isnt this a reputation risk avenue for ICPAK ?That Auditor of the assembly can never objectively undertake any Audit assignment Finally where are our Maasai professions arent they fit to head any department and to be given an assignment equal to their qualification? I call upon this Honorable congress to come out and speak against this act of segregation of our people on tribal lines in our own county. I call upon our MCA who have been pocketed by Mr. Konyango to act with speed to represent the so people who elected them instead of thinking with their bellies. I call upon any Masai of goodwill to shout with us KONYANGO AND GROUP MUST GO WE WANT OUR ASSEMBLY BACK when that time comes.
