Karachi , once known as Kolachi. In 1947, cream of educated people migrated to Karachi (those who did opt for Pakistan). people of Karachi (Sindhi) welcomed the migrated people with open heart , they built Karachi together with love . Karachi became the center point for trade and is one of the important ports of Pakistan. It was known as the city of lights, very clean , and modern. Karachi was always very generous, welcomed all kinds of refugees , from Afghanistan, Iraq, and some illegal residents as well! which was some how kind of not good for Karachis peaceful life. In Karachi, people dont have sindhi or mahajir maids ! majority coming from villages of northeastern province, they come to make some earning , since in their villages the landlords just give them bags of wheat or rice for working at their farm . Never thought of how people can imagine Karachi as a place of terror!! Karachi is very very innocent, it lets every one welcomed , regardless of who wants to come in it ! May Allah protect Karachi and its people, It is really a gem , which is taken for granted , or those terrorists do know its importance thats why they are irrupting this chaos !
