Karyn gave me the number 11! Here it goes... 1. Ive touched every ocean, but have never ridden a roller coaster. 2. I was raised to be a free thinking skeptic. A strategy I think my family hoped would result in me becoming an independent woman. When I dated a girl in college for a year Im not so sure thats how it was interpreted by them. 3. I was profoundly moved by my brothers faith in christianity when I was about 12. I asked Jesus to be my lord and savior, on my knees, all by myself and it was a significant experience. Then I found out that my parents wouldnt go to heaven if they too were not saved. I balked. And then began a campaign of adolescent angst and offense against christians. Im sorry about that. My adolescence is cause for several apologies, to be frank. 4. I swam with a dolphin once in Australia. This sounds nice. Except Im not a marine biologist, so I go with a strick no fins in the water near me strategy when in water. When it blipped up in the water in front of me and the Danish girl I was swimming with I might have shrieked and insisted that it was indeed my turn on the kick board thing and her turn in the damn water. This story could be interpreted as cowardice driven attempted human sacrifice. I apologize to the nation of Denmark :) 5. I was burning a cd and had just dished up dinner at my nieces house when I got the call that my mom was in the ambulance. I was on the glenn highway by the time the call came that she had died. My niece doesnt live in that apt any more..but every summer I drive the glenn highway. 6. My favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut or Ray Bradbury. 7. I love Wes Anderson movies. The Life Aquatic, Moonrise Kingdom, Royal Tannenbaums 8. When Im putting laundry/detergent etc in the washer I feel like a chemist. Like nobody else is mixing the exact right purportions needed. Im basically breaking bad in my laundry room. 9. I have never doubted for an instant that I married the best man I ever met...and if ever two people made beautiful children... 10. Last year I started decorating for Christmas on about November 12th. Running behind schedule this year. .lol 11. I am immeasurably happier and a much better human at 32 than I was at 22. So maybe youth and beauty arent everything ;) Ps Im not giving numbers for likes ..if you want a number, its 10. I like this game and want to like peoples declarations without getting another number :)
