Kasana, New Hope, Uganda, is a fledgling but solid expression of Christian community. Frankly, it is quite unlike recent American attempts that tend toward authoritarianism. Rather, here the Ugandan staff, foreign ministers, and reconstituted families of former orphans all practice mutual respect and self-restraint. Christ rules. Love and liberty prevail. I believe that we may offer something substantial and needed, though. Our 30-odd year experience crafting a Biblical, relational approach to education should prove helpful toward the teachers college now known as the Kingdom Education Institute. I have no doubt Uncle Godfrey Kyazze is the young man to head this.
