Kashmir man dies while saving school children from drowning A man died while trying to save two drowning school children in Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Police sources said that two school children from Government Middle School Garand in the district jumped into a well near a brick kiln at Wahabpora to beat the summer heat. A local Muhammd Ashraf rushed towards the well after one of the children watching them sought help from him. Ashraf rescued both the kids but died after the rope that he used to save the children tore apart and he slipped into the well,” police said.
