Kate says: Help! My baby boy is one week old and since yesterday he has started really fussing at the breast. He wakes up asks to be fed by nuzzling rooting etc I put him to the breast and he lies there sniffing licking sort of sucking then he pops off then he starts crying. Then its on off the boob with crying and screaming. For example during the night he woke at 3.30 but I couldnt get him to feed until 5.30!!! What on earth is going on? I find it so upsetting hearing him cry like this and hes obviously hungry as he keeps banging his little head against me and sucking on my arm etc. please help! Ps he saw an osteopath already at day 2 as he couldnt feed from the left hand side and that is all sorted now.
