Kate will kill me if she finds out Ive entered this photo into Cover-Mores Explore the World photo competition. :) I captured this shot as she was taking a selfie in a flooded St Marks Square, in Venice, back in January 2010. It had been raining, so her hair was wet, and lets just say that at the time she wasnt too happy that I took this shot of her. :) I think it captures, perfectly, what young people are like, today, when they travel abroad. Instead of taking the classic scenic shots like we did when we were their age, theyre constantly taking selfies in front of the famous tourist venues theyre visiting, and then they upload them straight onto the various social media sites they belong to.
