#Katherine is a great white shark that was tagged last year off of Cape Cod, MA, by research organization OCEARCH. Throughout the course of the year, Katherine has gradually made her way south. She JUST pinged in the waters to the east of the city of Miami! IF she continues her southward trend, it will put her very close to Biscayne National Park. While she probably isnt the first great white shark to swim in the waters near Biscayne National Park, it is interesting to watch how todays technology can shed light on the secrets of this large and mysterious ocean predator.
