Kathryn Ruemmler is leaving her position as White House Counsel. - TopicsExpress

Kathryn Ruemmler is leaving her position as White House Counsel. Her replacement is raising more than a few eyebrows. His name is W. Neil Eggleston and if you don’t know him, you at least know some of his work. He defended Bill Clinton in the Whitewater and Monica Lewinski scandals. He defended Rahm Emanuel former Illinois governor, during the trial of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich. Why would Obama hire a criminal defense to be the new White House counsel? For two reasons. He is likely to continue the policy of advising Obama not to release documents on his various scandals just like Ruemmler did. But more importantly, he is a defense lawyer, who has experience in defending people involved in scandals.
