Kathy is doing much better this evening probably more from your prayers than anything. She is up moving and walking already which is a great sign. Tests from earlier came back negative. She seems to be doing much better at this point than after the first surgery, which is a miracle in itself. Just to give everyone an idea of what they did; Went in through the exact same scar and removed some screws that were loose and replaced them with some larger diameter ones. Also drove 2 larger screws (about 6" each. Called eliac screws) down through both sides of her pelvis to reinforce here L5S1. Scrapped some bone from her pelvis for the fusion and filled it with BMP (controversial substance on some fronts but controversial is good if it helps the fusion take). Thanks again for all your prayers and support. Please continue to pray that this will relieve some, if not all of her pain, and she can get back to living a somewhat normal life.
