Katumbi Joins Zambia in Mourning Fallen Nkana Coach TP Mazembe chairman Moses Katumbi has mourned former Nkana coach Masautso Mwale. In a message of condolences to Nkana Football Club and the family Katumbi said Mwale was one of the shining examples of the game. “On behalf of my entire team, I wish to extend my condolences to your entire team and of course the family of the illustrious dead,” said Katumbi. “I assure you that TP Mazembe, and I will be on your side throughout this ordeal. I hope that our support will bring you comfort in these times where the entire community of African football mourns one of its technicians. ” Mwale died on Friday evening on the Ndola-Kitwe dual carriageway on his way back to camp ahead of Saturday’s CAF Confederation Cup clash against Sewe Sport of Ivory Coast. The game was played as scheduled 24 hours after the coach’s death and the two sides drew 1-all. Mwale, 51, will be put to rest on Tuesday at Kansenshi Cemetery in Ndola.
