Kay Hummel, DNM, HHP, AADP, CR, is a Certified Holistic Practitioner with extensive qualifications in a variety of disciplines in the field of Natural Medicine. Kay will be in-house and on-call at The Bead Angel SATURDAY FEB 1 and then EACH WEDNESDAY in February, 10:30am to 5:30pm, every week thru February 26. She is offering SPA SESSIONS (all touch, no talk) as well as Consultation, Diagnostic & Therapeutic Sessions at The Bead Angel, by appointment. Her initial fees are $35 for 30 minutes, $70 per hour. Kay is “in practice” with her own unique style of “Blended-energy-flow Reflexology” that incorporates & integrates her entire arsenal of Energetic & Therapeutic modalities, which includes Reflexology, Spectra Hue Color/Light Therapy, Healing Touch, Reiki, Homeopathic prescriptions, Flower Essences & Essential Oils. In 2014, Kay will be offering a variety of one-day and half-day classes & workshops designed to introduce you to all of the above modalities and how YOU CAN USE THEM to facilitate your own wellness and an improved quality of life. Kay has been in the field of the healing arts since 1998, with studies in Homeopathy within the field of what is termed Bio-Energetic Medicine. She graduated from the International School of Bio-Energetic Medicine in 2002 with a focus in Homotoxicology, earning the American Association of Drugless Practitioners listing as a Certified Holistic Practitioner. She has completed extensive studies relating to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Touch for Health, Info-Stress Release, Essential Oils and Flower Essences. In 2010, Kay completed her studies in Reflexology. She then began her studies in Reiki seeking to find a way of blending her knowledge of natural laws as they apply to health and healing. To that end, she has recently competed a series of studies in Spectra HueTM Light Therapies. Kay has done extensive study in the field of Natural Medicine, including work in Nutrition, Botanicals and Chinese Theory. Natural medicine is an integrated system of health care that uses natural methods and materials to diagnose, treat and prevent sickness and disease. Certified Practitioners within this area can diagnose and treat ailments, however only natural compounds can be administered as treatments.
