EIRGRID Open Day today(Monday 30th Sept) at the Granville Hotel, Waterford, until 8pm will be proposing route options for a high capacity power line of 150ft pylons. One route could pass in front of Waterford’s most scenic views of the Comeragh Mountains. This intrusive eyesore would spoil views for walkers on the Deise Greenway, making Waterford a less attractive county for tourists and its residents.
