Keep sharing your loyal horse stories! Check out the story that this photo prompted from Vicki P.! I had turned my horse out in the arena. He was fairly close to me. Two large dogs came into the arena, head down in the stalking stance and started toward me. We were alone. The horse turned and cantered off, but the dogs continued toward me with hackles raised, my horse was now at the other end of the arena. He turned paused, and then came at a dead run at the dogs. Ran them off, and then was very proud of himself. Snorting, pawing. Then returned to me like a pupppy. Love him. He is now 24, and will be with me til the end.
