Kendrick Lamar thinks the police kill black people because black people have no respect for themselves. He fails to acknowledge that low self-worth in the black community is a result of being ignored by the media, murdered unjustly, and a stripping of access to opportunities in education and job placement that many poor PoC and white people experience when their governments close schools, the police disproportionately target them and freeways close, forcing business to move away. Its hard to feel like your life has any value when society tells you daily that youre not worth being seen, protected, and supported. Unbelievably sad. Kendrick Lamar, another trashy person of color blaming innocent people for their own deaths.
