Kenneth Wilson Grace, b. 10/20/18. He had crystal blue eyes and his High School Prophecy was that hed be a circus barker. He taught me how to sing in the shower (its only a shanty..in old shantytown..the roof is so slanty..it touches the ground), how to tie my shoes, how to throw a knuckleball. And how to throw a temper tantrum. He loved puns and corny jokes and would reel all of them off at once if you laughed at the first one. He was kind and compassionate to many - damn near everyone I ever met told me he was a great guy. He was undiagnosed ADHD and needed to have control. Of everything. He would circle every show he intended to watch in the TV guide each week. His calendar had tiny little pencil entries with what his day would be like. When his boys would be boys and be loud and wild and maybe break something he would scream and rage with such bulging eyes and throbbing veins that I used to fear he would die in front of my eyes. Then he would say he was sorry and buy us comic books. He wasnt perfect. But he did his best. He worked hard, every day, two jobs, to put food on the table, a roof over our heads and clothes on our backs. He was my daddy. My Pop. My first hero. I think of you, Pop. I try to say hi to you in my head just about every day. Today, I wish you a heavenly fathers day. I hope you and mom win at pinochle. Love, Kenneth.
