The camp itself looks out across a watering hole with views of the Masai Mara plains in the distance. The watering hole attracts hippos, elephants, waterbuck and numerous other species – so you can just sit back and relax on your veranda and let the wildlife come to you! The Camp The safari adventure begins when you cross the river to get in to camp. From here you are greeted by the wonderful view, staff and the resident warthogs that snuffle about. The tents are simple but comfortable, and spacious – all with views of the watering hole. From Little Governors Camp your game drives explore the areas surrounding the camp; walking safaris can also be arranged from camp; and for those early risers, we highly recommend a hot air balloon safari (the launch site is at Little Governors Camp) to see the wildlife from above.
