Kenyan media may be contributing to making people dumber and more stupid. There are hundreds of good Science, Health and Educational documentaries out there but instead every evening they fill your mind with sijui Mother in Law, sijui Mwala... The entertainment we consume can influence our emotions and behavior and how we interpret different situations. Feed on a steady diet of Mother in Law then mix it with Mwala after that follow up with some ben githaes cool music then Switch over to some Nigeria Blockbusters, then when you feel bored, watch that amazing race photocopy they are calling twendekazi- watch that for a few weeks then visit a moderate science park like Museum Hills Snake Park, See how you feel. Any fictional character can influence a persons cognitive performance- Sijui that mimi napendanga mustafa. No wonder these media companies feel like crying whenever digital migration is mentioned. Give me Natgeo any day instead of Mwala. The Local Media needs to evolve with the times. In other words, you are what you watch... and read. Just like what you became when you went to school to study- its the same effect.
