Keri asks - Hi! I remember you sharing with me one time that one of children has celiac disease. I have recently found out that my 11 month old tested positive for the gene and has a reaction to gluten. We are going to wait until she is older to get the official tests done. In the mean time we are living and acting as though she is has celiac. Yesterday at the park one of the kids gave her some fruit loops. She ate some before I noticed and was able to take them away from her. Plus, I ate some store bought mashed potatoes (I am nursing) that has gluten in them. Needless to say last night was rough and today she is extremely cranky. Do you have any suggestions on what I can give her or what to do when these things happen. I know its going to happen through Luther life and I want to try and help. Her as much as possible. I give her probiotics everyday and gave her extra yesterday to try and help her tummy. Anything else I can do? Thanks for your help and time. I know you are really busy!
