Kerouac seems to be getting a little better. We hung out for a bit today, he was resting on the dog bed and I sat in a chair next to him and read, sometimes out loud or is aloud? Im never sure. I used my voice so he could hear me. I gave him some chin scratches which is one of the few bits of physical attention that he usually likes. As for that physical attention thing and cats, Raindrops has taken the Audience with Princess Raindrops in her Princess Bed to a new level in the last few weeks. She does this more with Rodney than me so far, but if you approach her in the bedroom when she is on our bed or Aspens bed and you try to touch her, she sometimes runs to her Princess bed so that you can. You still cant touch her if she isnt in it, but now she will meet you in the middle by going to her safe space so you can. This is the funniest behavior I think Ive seen in any of our critters over the years. She is a funny girl. We got to spend some time with our oldest great nephew, or is it Great nephew, Im never sure, this morning. We havent seen him in forever and by forever I mean a couple of years, I think. He was visiting from California with his girlfriend, whom we got to meet. They are both fine with physical attention, but then again we didnt coo Oh what a sweet, sweet baby when giving them hugs.
