MOEREWA NETBALL COURTS - URGENT HELP After a very successful Xmas in the Park for good ole Motown (Moerewa) on the 19th December 2014, the Moerewa Netball Restoration Committee raised funds of around $3,000. I cant give you the final figures yet because Pania and Glenda are still finalising the bills, but it looks to be around that figure. We need your help though. I am now in the throes of applying for funding to support the revitalisation of our netball facilities and urgently need feedback from you. The FNDC has set aside funding to resurface our netball courts in Spring /September 2015. They had initially set this funding aside last year but it was re-prioritised to one of our local schools. Kei te pai. Our turn is coming. Can you please flick me an email: jonettech1@gmail to share your support of the Moerewa Netball Association Incorporated Society and its Moerewa Netball Restoration Committee to restore this much needed community facility, and to apply for funding from various entities to achieve our Vision of a fully functional, quality community-led netball facility. To achieve this we need to: 1. To re-surface our netball courts. 2. To replace the current derelict building with a relocated building or new building. 3. To incorporate a gym area for use by the wider community 4. To commence Communtiy-led netball from the facilities. 5. To enable other sport activities to be run from the facilities, eg tennis, softball. 6. To enable use of the facilities by community groups. I would appreciate your urgent support and feedback. You can cut and paste any of the above but I will need your contact details so that funders can see that you are real people and that we arent just making it all up. You could also sign, scan and email to me the attached generic letter of support. Add anything you wish to say about your history with the netball courts or anything else you might think helpful.
