Kick-Ass 2 suffers from a debilitating sense of sequel-itis. It offers very little NEW things and makes no attempt at being as edgy OR fun as the original. Jim Carrey and Chloe Grace Moretz do their best with the material (which, unfortunately, means almost nothing). The violence is frequent and high in impact, but lacks style or humor. All-in-all, it was a waste of time. When I did start enjoying myself, it was much too late and the feeling went away exceptionally quickly. A fan-made film would have perhaps been better.
