Kick & Play, brought to you by the creators of Super Soccer Stars, is a parent-child pre-soccer and movement program for toddlers ages 12 to 24 months. Our instructors and our puppet friends, Mimi and Pepe, take your one through a world that shapes their familiarity with their abilities and exposes them to the basic principles of soccer. Class Structure A Kick & Play class starts with a welcome song, an introduction to a body part, and a kicking activity based on a weekly animal them. Colorful, age-appropriate equipment such as little soccer balls and small goals are used as tools to encourage full body awareness with a focus on lower body development. Class includes an upper body activity that guides toddlers towards differentiating between the upper and lower bodies, as well as a cognitive game to stimulate their knowledge of counting, colors, body parts and animals. The class rounds out with a massage, good-bye song and distribution of Mimi and Pepe stickers as a reward for their hard work that day!
