Kardashian and Couric butted heads last year after the TV host was quoted saying she didnt understand the reason for the Kardashian familys fame. Kim then posted a picture to Instagram of the gift and card Couric sent in honor of daughter North Wests birth with the caption: #IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit. Couric quickly clarified that she did not intend to hurt Kardashians feelings, and was merely trying to analyze an interesting public trend: “I’ve met Kim before and I think she’s a really sweet person. I was responding to a reporter’s question, and explaining how I’m intrigued by the public’s fascination with her family, Couric explained, according to TMZ. If this pictures any indication, it seems like the two have forgiven, forgotten and moved on to partying with some other A-listers by the shore.
