Kim and I are very sad to report that we had to put Keiko to sleep today (our sweet dog, and child). She was bleeding internally from a burst tumor and was in some pain very suddenly when I returned from my gig Friday night. Keiko let me know that it was time and I drove her to the veterinary hospital. I will never forget our car ride and how peaceful and sweet she was as if she was preparing ME for what was about to happen. Those of you who ever got to meet Keiko know what a kind, happy, friendly dog she was. Please take a moment today to remember her. We will never be able to replace her, and its going to take us a while to be able to speak to anyone without sobbing uncontrollably. Please be patient with us in the coming days.
