King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has warned that the Western nations might be the next target of the militants sweeping through Syria and Iraq, unless rapid action is taken against them. King Abdullah said there is an urgent need to fight terrorism with force, reason and necessary speed. His remarks came at a ceremony in Riyadh organised to welcome new ambassadors in Saudi Arabia including the one from United States. The Saudi King also called upon the other nations to join the UN Counter-Terrorism Centre, set up in 2011 to respond to new threats, and to which Saudi Arabia has made a grant of $100 million.
