Kingsburg Residents are urged to nominate fellow Kingsburgians to be honored at the Kingsburg District Chamber of Commerces annual community awards and banquet to be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29. Tickets are available now at the chamber office. Nominations of individuals who have made significant civic contributions are now being accepted. Honors will go to Citizen/Junior Citizen of the Year, Educator of the Year, Public Safety/Emergency Service Employee of the Year and Business of the Year. Nomination forms are available at the chamber office. Tickets for the event are $300 for title sponsorship with eight dinners, two bottles of Ramos Torres wines and program mention; civic sponsorship is $100 for two tickets and program mention, and $27 per person.
