Kirsten Dreiling shared a status. URGENT To all my friends and family, the time has come for me to share with you the truth about heaven. There are many misconceptions out there about Heaven, how you get there, who goes, who doesnt and why. There are some popular misconceptions I would like to address here. 1. I am a good person. If God is good, then He will let me in. I dont have to believe in Him. Everyone who is good goes there. 2. I go to church, so of course I am going to Heaven! 3. I believe there are many paths to heaven, not just one. 4. Only an evil God would send people to Hell. I believe there is only one way to spend eternity in Heaven, and that is through accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. How do I know? I read Gods Word, the Bible, and He states it very clearly in John chapter 3 verses 16-18 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. There are many more passages I can quote claiming this truth. The point I am trying to make is this: there is only ONE WAY to Heaven and that is through Jesus. Now, lets address the above misconceptions: 1-3 I have already covered, but I have not touched on number 4. Only an evil God would send people to Hell. God DOES NOT send anyone to Hell! We make that choice ourselves when we deny Christ! God gives us from the moment of our birth to just before our death to accept Jesus. Dont believe me? Read in Luke chapter 23 verses 38-43 38 There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the Jews. 39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Arent you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” 40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[d]” 43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” The moment it is too late to accept Jesus is the moment you die. Everyone believes when they are standing in front of Him for judgement. But dont take my word for it, research it yourselves! Start asking questions! Read the New Testament! Ask God to reveal Himself to you, and I promise you , He will. I am telling you all this because I love each and every one of you. I want you to know the truth, I want you all to have Jesus as your Savior, and I want to see all of you again in Heaven.
