So all of you know me and I have a Saint Bernard who is 6 months old names Dixie and 2 year old dal names candy! Both of my girls are healthy dogs have all shots front line heart guard and spoiled by momma. Dixie went to the grooming last Friday 7/25 and candy went Sunday 7/27. Bathed and pads shaved thats it!!! No cuts!!! When I went to pick dixie up Friday evening from the grooming salon she had pooped In her kennel and jumped the desk to get to me and was terrified and pottied on the floor. Dixie later started licking her back ankle area and candy started licking her back paws. I watched it for a few days I noticed matting on Dixies back leg and candy had red spots on her paw. This was Monday for Dixie and Tuesday for candy. By Friday Dixie has lost hair and candys paw is infected!!!!! I immediately contacted the grooming salon at petsmart and they said they didnt do anything but informed me they only MILDLY DISINFECT KENNELS!!! BIG NO!!!! Since its the weekend I contacted banfield hospital at petsmart and informed them the nurse on the phone instructed me to call the general store manager....I did and explained everything she IMMEDIATELY Shot me down saying my dogs have food allergies or fleas or something in my yard...once again both dogs had frontline put on the week of 7/23.... So I called banfield back took Dixie in this morning 8/3...the dr there would not run any tests!!!! Just said she would check for bacteria and giver her Benadryl OTC?? And the lovely store manager DIANE REFUSED TO COVER EXPENSES OR EVEN LOOK AT DIXIE!!!!! As I went to leave the employee there informed me there have been SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AND THE GROOMING SALON HIT THEIR FRIENDS DOG!!!! I will NEVER shop there or take my girls back there again!!! They will go to their vets tomorrow and I will take it further from there!!! Corporate is also well aware of merrillville having issues in the salon!!!!
